First Day of VBT Croatia Trip

Our tour guide walks us through Diocletiaan's palace. A UNESCO World Heritage site, a preserved example of Roman palatial architecture. This is Brace Radica Square. It is crowed, but I guess it is even worse in the summer when the most tourists arrive. It is especially popular because Game of Thrones was filmed here in Split.

Futura, our yacht, we will travel on for the next 4 days. We sailed from Split to Brac Island.

The boat has a bar and each couple has a wrist tag to keep tabs for payment of your drinks.

We took a practice 3 mile bike ride. I'm going to love the "TURBO" mode for the future hills! All of us chose an electric bike except 3 riders...Chuck Norris, Steve Noel and Mark Chapin. The rest of us are going for JOY RIDES!

I bought some stone bracelets here. Everything is made from the stone quarried from the island of Skrip nearby. This same stone has been used in construction of some areas in the White House.
